'Mankatha' is rapidly progressing towards completion across the huge sets erected at Hyderabad Film City. The producers initially had plans of releasing the movie by mid of June, but had to postpone due to some circumstances. Venkat Prabhu is taking scrutinizing efforts over the project to ensure that the film comes out well with technical brilliance.

As per the reports closer to Cloud Nine Movies, the film will hit screens by second week of July as Venkat Prabhu and Dayanidhi Maaran are planning to release the film in Telugu as well.

Meanwhile Yuvan Shankar Raja is working on patch-up works for the remaining songs that will hit audio stores by end of June.
